I know BBQ and this is some of the best I have had.

Smokin’ Yankees was the food vendor at an event in Stockton at Lincoln center a few months ago and I saw them once again at Eagle’s Nest Harley Davidson. I looked to yelp them and noticed they weren’t on here so I grabbed a couple of cards and this is what I think:

The two events were total opposites. LC was so many people I was lucky to get my plate. I had the chicken served with beans, slaw and bread for $10. The chicken was moist as could be, great smoke flavor and the portions were big. My son had the pulled pork sandwich. It was tender, light on the smoke with that touch of bark we all like to really set it off. Now, I know bbq and this is some of the best I have had. They should have their own restaurant.

Now at the ENHD event to my surprise there were no crowds so we had Smokin’ Yankees to ourselves. They served the same great food and with bbq it’s the little things that matter. They had wipes for when you were done eating now that’s looking out for your clients.  They do events like this, bbq competitions and cater to your get together or office.
